I have made a typo I am so sorry! :o

Requirement 3.71 - name and address of every parent and/or carer who is known to the provider

Oops! and even more worrying that you are the first to notice! :D

Every parent you know about ... so yes if dad and mum are living apart and you know about dad you should ask for his details.

If mum is not happy to give you them then you should note that...

I think some of the people who had noticed no longer have time to visit the forum. They're all busy writing down the names and addresses of every single person they know. :D

I've had a look in the downloads section of the free resources section but cannot find anywhere the 'Preparing for the EYFS 2012' document written by Sarah, mentioned in the above threads.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I'd like to cross reference it with the changes I've already made

Thanks!

That was something else i was going to query later as was a bit lost with it!

So basically we need names and addresses of people known to the child..mum dad etc..what about grandparents, friends houses they go to or is that going a bit too far?!

Also where does this info go..is it just another sheet we do up for parents to fill in for it to go in their file?

Thanks

Parents known to the child - basically those with PR and anyone else such as grandparents the child might live with.

It's about who can sign important documents for the child - school entrance forms, doctors certificates, your contract etc :D
