Hi i'm not yet registered but was wondering which one of these 2 people prefer. they both look like they offer the same or simular service. so which one do people like better?

NCMA is a registered charity which campaigns and lobbies on behalf of childminders
MM is a profit making company

Sorry but I don't think they are similar at all.
MM offer insurance and I believe a subscription to Creative Steps online
NCMA offer insurance, support for every childminder, a voice at Government level etc...
Have a look at both websites and see what you are after. I don't think there is a right or wrong choice, just a choice to cover your needs.
I personally never found any benefit from being with NCMA so I've been with MM for 4 years now and it obviously works out cheaper as I just pay for the PL insurance. Again from a personal point of view I prefer the MM paperwork (contracts, record forms, attendence register etc).
