Im just renewing My MM insurance online and its asking me something ive not filled in before. But as usual nothing is ever straight forward. I always end up having to ring someone regarding a lost login for anything I do online

Its asking:

Have you been allocated an Employer Reference Number by PAYE of Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs?

Whats this then? (idiot alert :D)

Ive got a Tax reference number but not sure if this the right thing
Any ideas :D

No assistants.

Looks like Im gonna have to ring them. :angry: Just wanted to renew and wanted it to be simple. They've never asked for one before.

But thinking about it i'm not an employer so no idea what they are asking for it for.

It bought up my renewal but asked me the question with no explanation of what it was. There was a grey question mark next to it but when you hovered or pressed it nothing came up.

I rang and was told there should be another question before it asking if I employed anyone. The question wasn't there which is why I got confused

Now I know that its if you are an employer and employ an assistant.

So I've had the entire cupboard of papers out from when I registered as self employed searching for a number that I dont even have :D

Its too early for this :laughing: even at 10.30am
