childminding information

Hi everyone just registered with this forum i am looking to find out more information on becoming a childminder, i am in the process of registering i am looking to find out if there any things i need to do before apply for the registration, also if anyone knows of any childminding support groups in west central scotland.

Also interested in ratios and cost per child thanks:)
