I was just wondering if any of you are covering the paralympics/doing as much or more/less activities than you did for the Olympics? I'm struggling a bit finding activities for this one - I've managed to find the emblem they use other than the 5 rings (it's 3 slashes - only way I can describe them) but I'm not sure how to do these with the little ones. I think I'll just get them to stick tissue paper on.

I've cut various pics out of the paper too, but as for arts activities to do, has anyone got any ideas?

I was thinking about other things to do and I might get each child to do something using a blindfold so they can see how hard it is for those athletes and maybe to use one arm for a while etc?

I feel I'm babbling now, sorry. Hope that all made sense!

Have you got a noisy ball or ball with a bell in? You could do all sorts of blindfold ball games where they have to listen for the ball coming.
Just watching the paralympics on tv will be great for discussions too.

If you 'google' paralympic colouring' you get a few things come up - colouring, crosswords, spot the difference, if you fancy that sort of thing. Depends how old your children are! The doing activities with one arm or blinfolded etc sound like good fun too.
