8 month old

I have an 8 month old starting next month and until now I've only had toddler age upwards. Need a bit of advice about what equipment or toys I will need so I'm prepared.

I would go for: a treasure basket, a basket of 'baby toys' such as stacking cups, mirror toy/mirror, singing toy, rattle etc (I try to have a few really good ones rather than lots of repeating ones), a few lovely board books, have a cd of rhymes and songs ready to sing along to and see where it goes from there...... I find a treasure basket a must for babies of this age - they just love them!!
