Hi,
I have an 11 month old starting Sept, and it's been 4 years since I have had to prepare baby formula. I have been looking at the latest guidance on preparing baby bottles and it seems to have changed since I last did it. It seems that you have to prepare the milk no longer than 30 mins after the water has boiled in a kettle. I was just after some advice on how you go about preparing it if your out and about.
Many thanks

I am surprised that you would need to be preparing formula for an 11 month old during the day. I assume that the parents have already told you the child has formula, ask them how they prepare it they should be aware of the lateset guidelines

I was having this conversation with parents a little while ago... and they suggested bringing cartons and sterilised bottles.

Phew much easier than having milk and making up bottles :D

This is what my parents do. Don't forget to review it in your Safer Food Better Business For Childminder's Pack.

When I had a baby the parents provided cartons and sterilised bottles.

Could you maybe ask them if this would be a better option?
