With only 3 weeks to go until the revised EYFS is law :jump for joy: I have looked again at variations / changing the conditions of registration and how it will work from Sept.
I have written the attached document about variations by pulling together all the information we have been given about variations from Sept - including threads on here and discussions with Ofsted - and focussing on the most important points.
I have included a sample risk assessment, letter to parents and parent confirmation. I have noted that written parent confirmation is not a requirement - but it is advisable to be able to provide evidence to Ofsted that parents have been consulted.
It is a free document which can be distributed as needed - I hope you find it useful :D
