GGGRRRRRR
yet again another parent with holiday issues.
For the last 6 months I have informed parents of my holiday dates (bank hols and holiday dates) in my newsletter, on website and verbally.
My first planned day off in over a year of CMing is next friday parent arrives today and says
"you know next week isn't a bank holiday but you've got it off"
Yes I know it's a bank holiday, it's my first day off in a year and a half, I'm off camping:D.
"Oh, my boss is away I'll have to see if I can get the day off" :angry:

They've both just had 2 weeks off to spend with visiting family and that was no problem

"And you've got a week in September?"
Yes again first holiday in 3 years :D(and first one alone with OH!!)
"That should be ok, I've got 20 days holiday left"
:eek::eek::angry::angry::angry:

parents make me so angry sometimes

Most only think of what affects them. Have a great trip and don't think about their petty comments. :thumbsup:

I've learned not to let it bother me.

I tell parents when I'm taking holiday or days off verbally, in my newsletter, in the daily diary and as a note on the invoice.

When I remind them, I still get the odd comment "oh, I don't know if I'll be able to get the time off work".
I say "I'm sure you'll sort something out"... And leave it at that :D
