Do you apply insect repellent to your kids when in the garden? If so do you get parents to sign first?

We live in a small rural viallge surrounded by farmland, I am being eaten alive by something - no tsure if it's in the garden during the day or coming in through windows at night. It only seems to be me being bitten - no-one else has been touched!

Would you apply IR to the kids anyway as part of risk assessment?

i'm currently being eaten alive too! not the children!

before we moved, we had a plague of some biting insect in the garden ... everyone and all the neighbours were getting nibbled. i had signed permission from parents and applied insect repellent. i can't remember which one, but got it from the chemist! no one minded!

Theres a particular park we go too that I put insect repellent on the kids, esp my own DS as he gets bitten and they become infected (always at this particular park). But no, not in my own garden. However, if there was a problem of the biting kind then yes I would definitely. I'd rather be safe than sorry, as they're not nice when the bites become infected.
