We went to Cadbury World yesterday and I sent a photo to my parents and this is the reply I got from mum of a 1 year old (Cadbury World is a 1.5 hour drive away)

Thank you for taking Aimee, she was wired this evening and only fell asleep about 20 minutes ago – ha ha J

As nerve racking as it is to let her go so far when she is so young, I know she is in great hands. I am so pleased we found you and Gary to be part of Aimee’s life and future – Thank you

Ahhh - that is lovely. It does not take much to show appreciation but it means so much.

I've got one parent that leaves the most lovely comments in her son's learning journal. Her and her little one are leaving in September though :(

Aww that is lovely! makes the busiest of days worthwhile

like everyone else I have some parents that just expect everything , but then a few go out of their way to write in their diaries how grateful they are and another parent who always expresses her appreciation. and it is lovely x
