Ramadan

Soooooo..... what is anybody doing to celebrate Ramadan with their LOs?

I have an 18 mth old whose Dad is Muslim and I thought it would be good to do something to acknowledge tha this week. I have searched the forum and there is a nice activity for making Ramadan cards but we always seem to do cards for celebration days so wondered if anybody has any inspiration for further activites?

I think they celebrate the end of Ramadan more than the beginning and during. At the end they celebrate Eid ul-Fitr.

Maybe if you ask dad he might have some good ideas, the children at his mosque may have made some nice things before, he may have some nice family traditions etc that you could use. I think at eid there is traditional food and a big meal, perhaps they might help you with that, eg mum might be able to give you a few sweet treats, so that all the children could try some.
