Hi I am recently accreditted and 1 of my parents was asking if she could put lo into local nursery for 12 hours of nef then come to me for the other 3 hours, not sure if i can do this as i have not recieved the nef pack yet.
I wasnt sure if there was a minimum or maximum number of days or hours they have to do at a setting iyswim?
any help gratefully received

yes clients can split the funding over two providers

The minimum amount of hours from one provider is either 2.5 or 3 hours (sorry cant think off top of my head) so yes you will be fine. I had one going to pre school 13 hours and was going to claim the 2 hours from me but couldn't. :rolleyes:

Sometimes the rules vary between local authorities so you should check with your local people before giving assurances.

In Somerset we can provide between 2.5 and 15 hrs and we can share care with one other setting, we put hrs required on a form and hrs at another named setting in the box provided.
