Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum!

I am hoping to become a registered childminder and I am booked in to have a pre-briefing with the council next month.

I am itching to start swotting up on the EYFS but I am worried that if I do it will be pointless as it is all changing in September.

Does anyone know what the changes are? Whether they are really big changes?

Thanks!

Joanne

There are a few changes - but you probably won't be affected if you are starting now because your course will cover the revised EYFS.

Good luck with everything! :clapping:

Thanks for the replies!

I think I will wait and just learn what they teach on the course. I'm soooooo looking forward to getting the ball rolling but from reading other threads I've realised it could take quite a while to get going!!!!

I know they will probably differ from area to area, but what is the course like? How many evenings per week and for how long?
