My TTO parent has given me the dates for the school holidays.
She starts 10th Sep
22nd - 26th Oct
24th - 4th Jan
18th - 22nd Feb
1st - 12th Apr
6th May
27th - 31st May
24th July - 10th September

I make this 66 holiday days

I'm taking a week off in september, making it 71 days and 104 weekend days (52 weeks a year x 2 weekend days) 175 holiday days
so the maths i've done is

365 (days in a year) - 175 (holiday/weekend days) = 190 working days x daily rate / 12 (months in a year)

Is this correct, before I send it to the parents and look silly

If shes doing Mondays you may need to take off any bank holidays that fall in term time , unless you charge for them.

I think Mayday is the only one that does and she's taken that off.

I added it up to 191 , adding up your actual working days rather than knocking off holidays. Tbh by the time youve divided it into months it will make hardly any difference!
so yes , 190 or 191 , x daily rate , divided by 12 calendar months.

make it clear that this runs from 1st September 2012 to 1st september 2013 and that should the contract change or end before this date that fees will be calculated and there may be a difference to be paid.

For term Time only care there are 39 weeks of paying term time and 13 weeks holiday.

So if you are taking a week off during term time if the parents are happy with that so close to the beginning of term then as long as you are not taking any more holiday in term time through the year yes you charge for 38 weeks.

If you are thinking of dividing this so the parent pays the same each month then be aware that if they leave say at Christmas, you will have a big chunk of money to repay to them. They may have to repay you so do keep a list of actual monthly payments against monies paid so you and the parent know the situation.

I must confess I make Term Time Onlys pay monthly as they go and i add in a half fee retainer fot the holidays into their fee.

So 39 weeks at fee + 13 weeks at half fee divided by 39

I agree with Ricky, be careful about dividing it into equal payements. I charge my tto parents a monthly fee (in advance) so theres no confusion.
