On our way from school to toddler group this morning and an ambulance went passed so we stopped to watch it. 3.5yr old mindee turns to me and says with a serious face:
'Someone's dead Sophie'
I thought I'd lighten the mood and replied..
'No, I think someone is feeling a bit poorly and needs to go to the hospital to be checked by the doctors'
Mindee replied...'No, Sophie...someone IS dead'
I had to smile a little when she turned away
