Parent Coming

Right my potential new parent is coming at 5.30. I'm not overly sure she is going to turn up to be honest - I haven't had any reply to my email I sent her last week. (This is the one where I won't get to meet the lad till the morning he starts).

I have all the paperwork ready to go (be read and signed)

She has just rung (10mins after she was supposed to be here) and said she is stuck at work and can't make tonight. She has rearranged for tomorrow night though.
She laughed a lot and said work keep her back at all sorts of times at the shortest notice! Not sure if alarms bells need to start ringing or not - I am reserving judgement and at least she rang:rolleyes:

Oh well you can uncross for now (but thanks anyway), I shall pack away all the paperwork for tonight, and see for tomorow.

The fact that she rang is good. The fact that you are forewarned that she might be late picking up is good - negotiate this into a contract so that you are not left out of pocket. ;) I am uncrossing until tomorrow.

Hope she comes later I have had parents do this in the past and its a good sign that at least she called to say sorry and she has arranged the appointment again
