Hi all

I wrote a post recently about a lady who approached me wanting to become a CM. Anyway, she's managed to get a space on a briefing session, but she's a bit worried as she's been told there will be a literacy assessment at this session before she can advance any further. Now, I've never heard of this, and certainly didn't have to do that at my briefing (in 2008) before I reg'd.

Have any of you heard of this, or better still had to do this, just so I can give her more of an idea of what it is and maybe calm her nerves a bit, bless her.

Thanks in advance, you lovely people

It's quite a common requirement to do a literacy and numeracy test nowadays before starting the intro course.

I am sure she'll be fine! It will just be basic English skills to test understanding.

Maybe her tutor can put her mind at rest? :D
