At what stage did you start advertising? Did you wait til you were registered? I already have one mindee lined up but it's a friend's child and it just happened that her minder is going back to work in a nursery in September so she's looking for someone else.

I was told by la that I could not advertise until certificate came through. And to advertise at school I had to show them a copy of certificate anyway.

I thought you just weren't allowed to sign contracts etc until registered? How do people have little ones lined up before they're registered?

I had a family of two brothers lined up for when I started and two schoolies :D
They just waited for me to get my certificate and then came round and signed. I was quite lucky really
