hi just wondering if any one can shed any light on a few things my husband is registered as my assistant with ofsted

1... when he finishes work will ofsted up my numbers a little bit ?
2... would i need to "pay" him or show am paying him even though it will it all just be classed as one income?

am newly registered and confused about this as he wants to work with me but not register as a minder he does hold the 12 hour first aid and had all ofsted checks ect but am not sure what written information i need to hold on file for him to cover me too:)

id be gratful for any advice on this :D

My husband has been registered as my assistant for 7 years now and I have never paid him a penny :laughing: I can increase my numbers if I want to when he is with me.

No you don't have to pay him just record in your diary when he is working with you for safe guarding purposes.

You will ned to apply for a variation to have high numbers when working with an assistant.

You dont need to pay him at all, I dont pay mine!:thumbsup:

Don't forget you might well also need to apply for planning permission from your local authority - mine insist on this.

Call your local planning department, they should have the info!
