Your thoughts on this question

What would you say is the most important part of the EYFS?

Sorry I should explain, I have an interview for a TA job and am researching some of the questions that might come up. Of course the children. I am thinking along the lines of what area of the EYFS is most important? I think PSED and the obbs, just wondered what everyone else thought. And yes you are totally right the children are the MOST important :D

I like the fact the children are the centre of the eyfs with every thing leading off them. All the areas are inter linking and are important in themselves. It's just like when doing an obs you could never just link it to one area which in itself is something the eyfs promotes because children never just perform in one area.

The statutory requirements which, when used properly, give us national minimum standards for ensuring children are safe and healthy etc.

And yes of course the children at the centre of everything.

Good luck! :D
