Business loans???

Hi, was just wondering if as childminders we are able to access small business loans or grants etc?

My car (7 seater) has broken down and garage are estimating £1500.00 to repair it, which is money I don't have at the moment. I am stuck in limbo as I can't work without my car because I have school runs to different schools but if I can't work then I can't afford to have the car repaired.

Any help or advise would be much appreciated!

I would have thought you could if you can prove to the bank that you can pay it back. Can you call your own bank to find out?

Some garages will let you 'owe' them. If they know you well enough and you usually pay promptly, it might be worth asking them. Suggest you pay £500 for 3 months? A bonus of this is you won't have to pay interest :thumbsup:
