Well today i am finally going to give notice to my nightmare child and pita parents! Is it ok to be a wuss and put it in his book bag????

I just know i am going to get an irate phone call as soon as mum sees it tonight!!!

Scared of what she will say/do and loosing so much money (he is my only child in school hols!)

Hand it to her - she WILL be irate if you put it in his bag. Don't answer the phone tonight!

If you are scared of handing her the letter - can you not have a friend round sat in your kitchen just to give you a bit of moral support?

I agree with Birdey. Hand it to her, be professional and see if you can have someone in the house with you as a witness if mum opens it and gets funny.

I also think you need to hand it to her in person.

Well you've done the hard part. It's their problem now not yours. Tomorrow is another day. :)

I agree. I might even sit her down for a minute and say that "I regret that for x reasons, I unfortunately have to give notice. I apologise for any inconvenience this will cause and of course I'd be happy to help in your search for alternative care if you like. here is a letter explaining all the final dates etc".

She will respect you much more for doing this
