Hello,
Sorry if this has been asked before but just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. I only started childminding in Feb and have just done my first tax return and with my expenses/start up costs didnt have to pay much tax. When I do my next tax return I may have to pay tax and dont want to end up with a big bill and no money to cover it. How does everyone avoid having a big bill when they have completed their tax return? Do you put money away each month and if so is it a certain %?
I only actually do childminding part time at the moment as I still work in an office 1-2 days a week so obviously I get paid from them and pay very little tax. Will I also need to put extra away from this money to cover tax?
Thanks
