Hubby is going to go mad. I bought DD some bath crayons the other day and she had a great time. When she got out of the bath she scribbled all over the outside of the bath which is obviously made of a different material. It won't come off. Help, help, help. Any ideas on how I can get it off?

oh this is a new one on me, I really thought they were just soap, sorry no help at all, is it the colour that has stained? Have you tried a baby wipe?

Nail polish remover? But maybe try a tiny area first in case it causes more damage.

Bar Keepers Friend is very good for things like this - daughter (grown up) got hair dye on toilet seat used bar keepers and it came off - you can get it from tesco, asda etc

Good luck

An hairdryer on normal crayons normally works as it melts it - it might do the same on bath crayons :)

I love cif- the kitchen one and the bathroom one. Might be worth a try-they do seem to get rid of just about everything, especially grease. Hope you manage to get it off.

I find that magic eraser works magic. Available from JML and ASDA. It has revmoved loads when all else has failed. It comes in a block and you cutmto size and wipe. I used it for bath crayons on my jacuzzi and it worked. X x
I have some that I can post to you if you pm me your address x x

Thanks for that!!! I'm really bad at getting hair bye everywhere especially the foam one which doesn't make a mess ! I'll get some in ready for next time, save the tongue lashing I usually get from DH :D

Thanks so much everyone. I tried lemon and bicarb and it made it fade a bit but didn't get it off. Ordered some of the products online and magic eraser arrived first and so I used that. It pretty much got it off!! It took a bit off elbow grease to make it work but now you couldn't see it unless you were looking for it. When I get time I might give it another scrub and see if it will come off completely. The barkeepers friend has also arrived and so I should give that one a go too. Thank you soooo much everyone! x

If it's crayon, won't it just scrape off with a finger nail or something?

No Helen, it wouldn't. If only! It came off the inside of my bath straight away but something on the bath panel obviously reacted with it and it just soaked in. I think the problem was that I didn't clean it immediately because I had a really bad headache and just went to bed as soon as I got DD out of the bath and into her bed.
