As part of my Jubilee and Olympics planning, I thought each child could make a time capsule with a Jubilee/Olympic theme. When we have finished, the children could seal them and take them home to be opened at a later date.
I am finding it hard to think of things to put in them.
I thought each child could have a shoe box and decorate it in Red, White and blue, collage pictures of the queen and the Olympics etc. Then each child could fill their own box with;
* A picture of themselves (or with their family)
* A picture of the front of their house
* A 'MY FAVORITE' collage (made up of pictures of their favorite toy, programme, book, food, song/rhyme etc
* A coin minted in 2012
* A Union Jack flag
* A Picture of their Handprints and footprints in red, white and blue
* Photo copies of Newspaper articles on the Jubilee and Olympics
Can anyone else think of things they could put in?
Any ideas welcome. :thumbsup:
