I have a family who left last September on Maternity. A nearly 3 yo at the time and I had cared for him since 9 months old.
At the time the option of him staying on reduced hours wasn't an option due to finances.
I have a very good relationship with this family and see them fairly regularly for play dates with other mindees etc and I babysit for them too.

Mum plans to go back to work in October and would like me to have both children. I have at the moment 1 full time place (they used 30 hours previously a week) so can accommodate the baby no problem but obviously would need a variation for the older child for the hours he's not in playgroup.

I'm wondering if as this is a returning family I would be likely to be granted a variation for 4 under 5's? (I've had variations for this in the past so numbers aren't a problem) Or whether it would be classed as new business even though they are old business
