I’ve been looking at ways I can do my planning for next steps more efficiently.

I used to just do a weekly plan covering all the areas of learning ( I’ve recently changed this to support the new eyfs) this was just used for a plan for all the children, i would then do observations each week and plan the next steps for each child

I’m thinking about changing this to doing planning each week but include things such as messy play, outdoor play, story time, baking activity instead of covering the areas of learning

I would then do a baseline assessment (in the development files) for every child every 2 months following the baseline assessment I would plan the next steps – observe the child for another 2 months and track their development through observations linking it to their individual learning plan

Lol does that make sense I’ve confused myself trying to explain it
I’ve attached the documents so hopefully after looking at them it might make more sense

my individual learning plan is the same layout as my baseline

Looks good to me, like the inclusion of a box for What parents have noticed :)
