Good afternoon lovelies :)

I've got a parent meeting this evening, to care for her 8 month old. I'd like to have some bits and pieces out for him/her (you know what, I'm so embarrassed as I didn't even find out what sex the baby is!) Anyway, for those who have experience with this age group (my youngest mindee since I started was 15 months), what should I have out? I was thinking of making up a general treasure chest, having the age appropriate musical instruments, a few books...anything you would recommend, or do you think that will be ok? She/he might just want to have a little explore but I thought it would be nice that I make a bit of an effort.

Thanks all and enjoy the rest of your day (Weds already!) :clapping:

For little ones I put a nice mat, or blanket on the floor and set out some soft toys, activity toys, picture books, etc.

The baby can then sit or lie on the mat & I can interact with them while talking to the parents

Think I've read your other post - the meeting went well?

Fingers crossed you get it
