My mindees mum has said her boyfriend will be picking him up on Thursday. He's not listed on the contract as an alternative person. Do I need mum to supply written notice?

As far as im aware you should only let them go to people authorised in writing .If its a emergency I have been told you can use a password system were you give mum a word for the person collecting to tell you but always change it .If im wrong someone will correct me I am a newbie so still bit unsure.

I have a password system and I would ask mum if she could let you have a photo of him, his name and his phone number in case you need to contact him that day.

I use a password and if that person is collecting the child by car l ask for colour and make of car and if they know it the registration number, they would be parking at my house so l would see the car.
