I have just filled in the form to register as self employed online with class 2 national insurance contributions.
Is this all I need to do???
Feeling quite scared as coming off benefits, and this is so different to beign employed by someone else :panic:
Also I have only just started working today, I was wonderign when I should expect to do my first tax return, and also how much roughly of my income should I put to one side for tax?
I doubt I will have to pay tax this year due to start up costs etc, but I want to get into a good habit so i dont get caught short.
Any help greatly appreciated.
