Does anyone know what the cost is of stopping the course?
We were told the first day.
Seriously tempted now to drop out as a lot of it seems silly, nit picky kind of work and I'm not really learning anything....(don't want to offend anyone....)

Maybe a bit silly to do it in conjunction with the EYPS.....

No idea, is it written down within your paperwork somewhere? If you've had to pay then maybe you'll have to refund fees

Has the course provider/college got a website? There might be some info on there

even if the college don't have a payback clause, if your local authority have paid for you I think they would expect the money back. I'd just get it done hon - even if you are not learning loads you may well need to evidence you have the level 3 in the future

We were told that we would have to pay back any funding if we recieved any or pay for the whole course if we were funding it ourselves.

I started the course last April and had it finished by January,
I didn't really learn an awful lot of new things from it, I was actually already 'over qualified' for the course
But if nothing else it's given me another piece of paper to show parents and put in my continuous development folder.
I think the course is useful for people who have little or no experience of the EYFS or working with children but for people who have experience it covers the things you already do.

For that amount of money I think I'd just crack on with it and get it finished as quickly as possible
