How many business miles on average does everyone do a week? I've been stupid and not been logging my mileage for the last 2 months but have started today.

Thanks

2 and that is to Sainsburys and back! I live within walking distance of everywhere else!

I don't think asking us is going to help you work out what you need to claim LOL Get onto google maps and find the distance to all the activities and toddler groups you have attended (as listed in your daily diaries etc) and check your receipts to find any journeys to buy equipment and days out.

anywhere between 10 and 240!!! but I currently pick up/drop off from 3 different schools about 5 miles away on an ad hoc basis, when I'm not doing the school runs is just bitting to and from playgroup.
I went on the AA website put in the postcodes of everywhere I go and used their mileage to work out my expences, I know how rubbish I'd be if I tried logging mileage everytime I went anywhere

around 800 miles per month, sometimes less sometimes more depending on whether it is school hols or not

Hardly any in term time, about 10-20 a week as most things are local/ walking distance, but in the hols I can rack up 150 as we go off out every day.
I keep a small diary and pen in my car and note every time we go somewhere, if I paid car park, (I put the ticket in the pages) and any expenses like duck food, ice creams etc that I don't have a separate receipt for.
It really doesn't take time once you get in the habit, and I bring it in once a month to transfer to my accounts sheets.
