Struggling to get mindies

I dont know if anyone else is finding it hard Iv been reg since Dec11 and only took on a after schoolie 11yrs old for 2 days wk and Im feeling realy fed up .I have done every thing I can even on childcare.co.uk but no ones interested I dont want to give up worked to hard to get this far but I have found myself looking on job sites as miss not having my own money realy hope to get some interest soon :(:(:(:(:(

It can be really hard to get started ... once you have the first one they often follow.

Have you spoken to all the childminders in your local area and asked them to refer you if they are full?

when i started minding i was also working as a carer in the evening, as minding picked up i reduce evening hours to just week end and then alternate week until i could live only on minding.

Any chance of you getting some work in a childcare setting locally - play group, after school club or similar, you never know where it might lead
