Do you order the original or the compatible ink?

I have a Canon printer and have recently tried the refilled ("remanufactured") cartridges. They were cheaper but not by a lot. However I didn't get anywhere near as much print out of them, so have gone back to using original Canon cartridges. The refilled ones were a false economy.

I use the remanufactured ones. I agree some remaufactured ones are not worth it - but for me these last longer than the originals.

Just ordered some - thanks! Will see if they work for my HP Photosmart (which is rubbish and I DO NOT recommend).

I've got a Dell printer. It doesn't like remanufactured inks as it never registers the ink levels like my old HP one did (but it is old the print quality isn't sharp enough to use anymore) The cost of the original inks for the Dell is stupid expensive. I want to get another printer although mines not very old. I'd like a wireless one.. my dell was meant to be... but apparently i had to buy an extra bit on top of the cost of the printer for it?

Any one got any recommendations?
