I just have a quick question re overnight care for brothers aged 10 and 12. This is outside of OFSTEDS remit, yes? So childcarer does not need to be registered? So an unregistered person, or a registered childminder (but not registered for overnight care) could legally care for boys overnight?

Honestly, that is just one question :)

:) Ty, I'm not asking about me caring for the boys just for information for their parents. It's not about the money it's about the legality.

If they do not want to use vouchers or tax credits it's OK.
We have been having homestays aged 10-18 for over 9 years now and none of the families the agency uses is registered with Ofsted.

Thank you :) Will pass that on to them.
