It is road safety week this week - have a nosey on the website and search on the forum there's a thread about it somewhere.

You could do a week of activities about being a lollipop person

    Default People who help us

We are currently doing this topic.
We have visited the doctors surgery and met the doctors and nurses, visited the post office and used this a a practical life skill to buy stamps and post a letter, we have crossed the road with the lollypop person, visited the mechanics and had a look around their workshop.
Within the home we have made a post box which we use for role play, have emergency services vehicles in the small world area etc.
We have also been learning the makaton signs for all these people.
