    Default Multicultural Dressing Up

    Hello, trying to expand my Multicultural stuff - can anyone give me ideas on what dressing up clothes and cooking utensils they use for this. Thanks

    Cooking - small wok, Indian or Chinese bowls, chopsticks, food from around the world, bread from different countries...

    Dressing up - salwar kameez, Chinese dress, Bob the Builder hats, superman capes.

    visit charity shops regularly and you'll be amazed at what you can find for very little money, the sorts of things that we childminders need are often the things that others don't want! The kids love going too.

    i HAVE ACTUALLY FOUND THAT CATALOGUES WITH REAL INDIAN CLOTHES IN ARE CHEAPER THAN CHILDREN'S DRESSING UP CLOTHES. i BOUGHT SOME SARIS FOR £2.50 EACH. Sorry Didn't realise I had caps button on

    Have a look at the nursery surplus site - I got a sari and a japanese outfit recently both for under a tenner and they are fab quality!

    cooking things - visit your local chinese supermarket as they have plastic bowls, sppons, wicker sui mai basket etc ...

    Thanks for that link just got a nigerian and punjabi girl 5-8 for under a tenner for both £13.40 with delivery
