    Default Springwatch in Japan

Did anyone watch Springwatch in Japan? I really like Springwatch anyway, but this special was really lovely.

I've never done any work linked to Japan with little ones/bigger ones, but this sparked lots of lovely ideas. DD was half watching it and loved the 'Japanese racoon dog' which we never even knew existed.

I have always wanted to visit Japan but now I'm desperate to go! Have any of you guys ever been? Do you do anything lovely relating to Japan ever?

Once looked after a little boy whose mum was Japanese - she brought some printed fish templates for all the children to assemble and make into a fish model for 5 May (1 think) as it was Japanese children's day. some nice ideas on here Children's Day

Finally watched this and what a lovely festival to wait for the sakura (sp) tree to start blossoming and then celebrate it
