    Default sponge painted handprint treea

autumn trees - I think these were really effective. first I drew round their hands on card and cut it out. The put the card on top of the paper and let them sponge paint using autumn colours - the take away the handprint.

Just tried this but forgot to stick the hand and arm print over the tree shape before they sponge painted - oh well, it's a variation on a theme!

I did this yesterday with one mindee - they loved it.

And as they also painted the hand cut out whilst it was on the paper we have another "tree" for them to decorate next time!

Mine didn't turn out too badly considering I forgot to use the hand and arm part while they were sponge painting.
