You obviously live in a very beautiful part of the country, and are so lucky to have a forest to enjoy nearby. The best things in life are free!

There is a lovely story book called 'foggy foggy forest'

... Lots of silhouettes on opaque pages and silly rhymes.

Amyloiuse , this is exactly how we spend most of our days at this time of year! Not so foggy this morning but the end of last week looked exactly like that! We could honestly do every single area of learning in the forest - we love it! someone earlier was asking for auumn activities for a 10 month old - activities are great , but theres nothing better than just getting out there and being surrounded by it!
Are they baby snails on that leaf? Its hard to tell from the photo but that's certainly what they look like!

    It is so true!

Its medicine to all being outdoors with nature!
Makes you all feel contented, happy and refreshed.

As you say the learning that can be achieved is endless.

I will have a look at that book!
Thank you for letting me know always on the look out for new books and resources xxx
