I'd say making things - bracelets, (my DD11 likes her rainbow loom), a scrapbook/photo album, Hama beads pictures, Lego? Or would she like to help you get tea/do some baking?

I have a ten year old and she loves anything crafty. Most of all tho she loves playing with the other children . She helps them to make things and enjoys being a 'big girl' and talking to me .
If I buy a new toy or craft item she loves playing with it whatever it is.
I too only have her for after school so I often pre bake the cakes or cookies and she then can decorate them. If not I tend to do things that are quick like cookies , jam tarts and little brownies rocky road or crispy cakes .
I'm sure she will love any activity you arrange x x

My new 9 yr old girl loves the playdough and spent an hour on Friday playing with the baby dolls on her own as LOs asleep.
She likes sewing ... we've made felt finger puppets and dolls.
Hama beads always go down well.

    Xx

I think she would probably love being your 'helper' and having little jobs to do, like making snack?
