    Default Numbers activity

    One of my mindee's is learning his numbers and I thought you might like this idea.

    We use the coloured blocks see below

    Melissa & Doug Pattern Blocks and Boards: Amazon.co.uk: Toys & Games

    and then I found this website

    they also have the alphabet which my mindee love doing.

    That sounds like a lovely activity!

    We have a bowl full of coloured milk bottle lids and use those for sorting, counting and making patterns too

    Thanks Sarah, I like your idea with the milk bottle tops.
    The council don't recycle the lids and I always feeling guilty chucking them in the bin.

    Liked the card ideas... will save that for when I finally get around to buying those shapes (they are on my HUGE amazon wish list )

    Cherry do you get the nurturestore weekly planning emails? There is a good one for numbers and pancakes this weekend
