We are doing schools for the older children!

I have some books about school, chalk boards, a bell to ring for break times, some little rubbers as rewards, stickers etc.

The children will find the rest from the playroom as they develop their game.

    Enjoy

Do you know what their routine will be at school sometimes they have it on their website that might be worth a look.

At ours they have their own names laminated to pick up from a desk then put in the post box or their drawers.

Think about a timetable for the wall and lots of reward stickers!!!

Enjoy I am just pondering similar for mine who are off to pre-school!

We got an easel from the charity shop and DD sits next to it on a chair. She puts a big towel on the floor as a mat and sits all her cuddly toys on it. She 'writes' on the board, reads them stories and gives them stickers. She also sets up their snack table with her teaset and plastic or playdough food. Registers are always fun too.

Every time I see a school on TV there's a grinning politician or royal mooching about, ingratiating themselves to the press.

So I think what your school corner really needs is a stuffed effigy of Sith Lord Gove, The Trussinator, or Waity Katie.

(Next steps = burn them on bonfire night.)
