    Default Outside mark making...

What do you think when I talk about 'outside mark making?'

do you immediately focus on painting, chalk and wellies in puddles? That type of mark making would be my first thought...

Depends on the age and reason I guess, I'm split. If I think about it for minders, I imagine toddlers and chalks, sand, mud, water and brushes. If I was thinking about older children or myself, I'd be thinking texture so rubbings(bark, brick etc).

No idea why as all could be done by all i guess. when I was small and went outside I enjoyed the texture activities yet when I plan for my outside environment it's the former.

"Age-appropriate" activity planning suggests we should be taking the schoolies out to tag a few local subways.

Can CMs get a discount on spray paints?

Is that an example of "thinking outside the box"?!

I managed tea outside yesterday for the first time this year, LO tipped out fromage frais and drew in it....
