    Default My first attempt at Cakepops

    I went to a Cake Pop course today, and I am now in love with them. Got so many ideas in my. Here's a picture of my attempts

    I have seen them in the Lakeland catalogue, but never seen any in real life!!!!


    Is there real cake in the middle, and if so, does it taste okay?

    Yours look brilliant, I especially like the hello kitty one

    Wow they're brilliant, what did you use for the covering? was it chocolate or icing?

    Yep real cake. You can make a sponge or use a shop made cake, as you need to crumble the cake it doesn't matter too much.

    All the covering was chocolate, didn't think it would be as simple as it was. Apparently the trick is using good chocolate , we used this one

    We made some today for the first time, got the little oven from Lakeland yesterday. But not as fancy as yours.

    My mom bought a cupcake little oven from argos £25 (I think) she said I can borrow it....
    so going to make round red nose cakes on friday!!!!
